Raycast let's you stay on top of your Jira workflow with ease. You can transition your assigned issues, check the status of the active sprint and create new issues.
Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up the extension
1. Go to theΒ Store and search for Jira
2. Select and Install the Extension developed by Raycast
3. After installing the Extension, open one of the Commands, and Sign in with Atlassian to allow access and begin using the Extension
Create Issues
Use the Create Issue command to quickly create new issues in Jira. It supports all the common fields and a subset of custom ones.
- Fill out the form and hit

to create a new issue. - The form remembers the last selection of frequently used fields. For example it persists the Assignee or Priority, making it quicker to create another issue.
- You can quickly tab through all fields.
- All custom fields are grouped on the bottom of the list. We're currently only support simple custom fields. If you miss some, please let us know.

List Issues
Use one of the Jira list commands to quickly check issues. You can choose between My Open Issues, My Reported Issues, My Watched Issues or Recently Updated Issues.
- The issues are grouped by status. The first section shows issues that are in progress to keep your focus on getting things done.
- Hit

to view the description and more details of the selected issue. - The Search Bar lets you filter for the key, summary, status, type, assignee or priority of issues.

Active Sprints
Use the Active Sprint command to see what your team is up to. It's great for balancing work between team members and get a quick glance at the state of the active sprint.
- The list shows all issues that are part of the active sprint, including closed ones.
- Use the dropdown in the upper right corner to adjust your project. The selected project is preserved and is gonna still selected the next time you open the Active Sprints command.

My Filters
The My Filters command shows issues for any of your saved filters including the ones that Jira automatically set up while creating Boards.
- The list shows all issues of the selected filter. The filters can be configured on the Jira website.
- The dropdown in the upper right corner allows you to select the currently active filter. The filter is preserved, making it easy to look at the same list again.

Search Issues
Sometimes you need to find a particular issue. The Search Issues command allows you to search for any text, project or issue key globally across all your projects.
- Start typing to search for what you are looking for. This command always fetches the latest issues.
- When you open the command, you see recently created issues. Sometimes this is enough to find what you want.
- The command is also available as a fallback search in the root search or in any Jira list command.
