Keyboard Shortcuts

Jumping around Raycast shouldn’t be difficult. Getting from A to B should be easy, and from B to A should be just as simple. We’ve designed Raycast in a way to make things easier for you, and speed up your process.

The following shortcuts will work anywhere within Raycast:

• esc will take you back to the previous page
• ⌘ esc will take you back to the main search page
• ⌘ W will close the Raycast window
• ⌘ , will open Raycast preferences
• ⌃ N or ⌃ P can be used to move down or up in any list view

Most Raycast windows will have an action panel with actions associated to a list item or a detail view. The following are some common shortcuts associated with list items in the root search.

• ⌘ ⇧ , to open the selected item in Preferences
• ⌘ ⌥ , to open the group of the selected item in Preferences
• ⌘ ⇧ F to add or remove an item favorites
• ⌘ ⌥ ↑ and ⌘ ⌥ ↓ to move a favorite item up and down the list
