Billing
Raycast is free to use, with paid plans that unlock more powerful features and AI across macOS, Windows, and iOS. One subscription covers all three platforms. Just sign in with the same Raycast account on each device. You don’t need separate accounts to use Raycast on different platforms.

Raycast Free
Raycast Free includes core features such as Clipboard History, Quicklinks, Calculator, Snippets, Emoji Picker, and Window Management, alongside five Raycast Notes and access to Raycast for iOS. You can also browse thousands of extensions, create extensions, and use Raycast’s developer tooling.
Unlock Raycast AI with Raycast Pro. AI features aren’t included in Raycast Free.
Raycast Pro, Pro+, Max
Paid plans add Raycast AI to everything in Free: fast and powerful models from all leading providers, monthly credits to use them, and context from your files, screen, memory, and Profile. Generate images, connect your tools, or bring your own AI. You also get Cloud Sync, Dictation, Translator, unlimited Notes and Clipboard History, Custom Window Management, and Custom Themes.

Change to Subscription Tiers
The Advanced AI add-on no longer exists. It has been replaced by Raycast Pro+, a standalone plan, and it can no longer be added to a Pro subscription.
- Existing Raycast Pro subscriptions stay on Pro and receive monthly credits.
- If you previously subscribed to Pro with the Advanced AI add-on, your subscription moves to Raycast Pro+ automatically.
- Raycast Max is a new plan.
To make the transition easier, existing subscribers receive double credits. On September 10, 2026, existing subscribers receive two full monthly credit packs at once, and these credits expire after 30 days.
If you were already on a yearly individual Raycast Pro or Raycast Pro+ subscription on September 11, 2026, you also get 50% more credits each month for the remainder of your current annual term. Pro goes from 500 to 750 credits a month, and Pro+ from 3,000 to 4,500. You won't see the change in your account just yet: everyone already received double credits as the launch bonus above, so the higher amount applies from your next credit reset. New subscribers and subscriptions on monthly billing keep the standard credits listed in the plan table.
Unlike the add-on, which could be added or removed at any point during a subscription, Pro+ follows the same rules as every other plan: downgrades and cancellations take effect at your next billing renewal date.
Raycast for Teams Free
Raycast for Teams Free includes everything in Raycast Free for every member, plus a Private Store and Shared Commands, Snippets, and Quicklinks: up to 5 commands and up to 30 Snippets and Quicklinks. Teams Free isn't a trial and doesn't expire, so you can use it for as long as you want.

Raycast for Teams Pro, Pro+, Max
Paid Teams plans give every member everything in the matching individual plan: Raycast AI with the same models, monthly credits, and bring your own AI. You also get unlimited Shared Commands, Snippets, and Quicklinks alongside the Private Store.

Credits are per member and aren't pooled across the team. There's no minimum or maximum number of seats. Add members whenever you need to, and pay per user, per month. For the latest prices and billing options, head to raycast.com/pricing.
If your plan is provided by an organization, Settings → Account identifies the team managing it. Members with billing permission can choose Manage Team Plan. Your account also shows your credit balance and the option to purchase a top-up.
Raycast for Enterprise
Enterprise runs on dedicated enterprise terms and SLAs that replace the standard Terms of Service, with custom pricing billed annually. It is not available to purchase from the website. To get started, head to raycast.com/enterprise or contact us at enterprise@raycast.com.
Create an account
You can create your Raycast account from our website at raycast.com.
Alternatively, if using the iOS version of Raycast, you can create a new account when launching the app for the first time. Simply tap Create Account on the splash screen that appears on first launch or when the app is logged out.
Start a new subscription
You can either create an account first or start a new subscription right away. Head to the Pricing section of our website and choose a subscription and billing interval.
If you're using the iOS app, you can sign up for a subscription whilst creating your account, or log in to your account and open Settings. Either tap Try Free at the top of the Settings page to begin a 7-day free trial, which is available for the Pro plan only, or tap Subscription to subscribe to any plan directly. Pro+ and Max don't include a trial and start billing right away.
How you are billed
Billing works identically whether you are on a Raycast Individuals plan or a Teams plan. Raycast for Enterprise has custom pricing and is billed annually. Contact us directly at enterprise@raycast.com to learn more.
Paid Plans
All paid plans, whether Pro, Pro+, or Max, can be billed either Monthly or Yearly. You choose your billing cycle at checkout.
Trial period
Free trials apply to the Pro plan only. New users begin a 7-day trial immediately when they create an account, and existing v1 users begin theirs when they move to Raycast v2. If you already have a paid subscription, it carries over as is, with no new trial. If you started a Pro subscription at checkout, you will automatically be billed when the trial ends, depending on the billing cycle chosen. To avoid being charged, you can cancel before the trial period ends via your Account Settings.
Each user account is entitled to one free trial. If you end your subscription and resubscribe later, your new subscription will begin billing immediately with no new trial period.
The free trial includes 500 AI credits and access to the models available on the Pro plan. Top-tier models in Pro+ and Max are not part of the trial. Trial credits expire 7 days after they're granted, and if you upgrade during your trial, any remaining trial credits are used before your monthly plan credits.
Monthly billing
Monthly subscriptions to Pro, Pro+, or Max bill on the day you subscribe, then on the same date each month. For the Pro plan, which comes with a 7-day free trial, billing starts on the day the trial ends. Start a Pro trial on 3rd March, for example, and you'll be billed on 10th March, 10th April, and so on until you cancel.
Yearly billing
Yearly subscriptions to Pro, Pro+, or Max bill on the day you subscribe, then on the same date each year. For the Pro plan, which comes with a 7-day free trial, billing starts on the day the trial ends. If your Pro trial ends on 14th March 2026, for example, you'll be billed on 14th March 2027, 14th March 2028, and so on until you cancel.

Auto-renewal
Both Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew. You'll be billed at the next billing date unless you cancel before.
Cancelling your subscription
You can end your subscription at any time from your Account Settings. This will end your auto-renewal. You'll continue to receive your plan's benefits right up until your renewal date and will then revert to a Free account.
Changing plans
You can upgrade or downgrade between Pro, Pro+, and Max at any time from your Account Settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing renewal date, and you keep your current plan's benefits until then.
Top-Up Credits
You can purchase additional AI credits at any time from Top Up in Settings → Account. Top-up credits expire 12 months after purchase. Credits are used in order of expiry date, so the credits that expire first are spent first. This usually means monthly credits are used before top-up credits. Note that using credits requires an active paid subscription. Learn more about credits on Usage Limits.
Manage your subscription
Subscriptions from Raycast.com
Head to your Account Settings. From here, you'll be able to:
- Review available plan changes.
- Change your billing cycle from Monthly to Yearly.
- View and update your billing card/method.
- View your invoices.
- Cancel your subscription.
Please note, you cannot make changes to a subscription if you have an invoice that is currently open.
Subscriptions from the iOS app
Open the Raycast app, then head into Settings (the icon on the top right of the screen, usually your initials or profile photo). Tap Subscription, then Manage Subscription. This will take you to the App Store, where you'll be able to change your plan, your billing cycle, or cancel your subscription.
Alternatively, open the iOS App Store, tap Settings (top-right icon), then tap Subscriptions.
If you created a subscription on iOS, you must manage it via your iOS device. We cannot cancel or make changes to subscriptions created via the iOS App Store.
